A NOVEL YLMPO1 GENE DERIVED FROM YARROWIA LIPOLYTICA AND A PROCESS FOR PREPARING A GLYCOPROTEIN NOT BEING MANNOSYLPHOSPHORYLATED BY USING A MUTATED YARROWIA LIPOLYTICA IN WHICH YLMPO1 GENE IS DISRUPTED
A method of manufacturing glycoprotein from which a mannose phosphoric acid is removed is provided to mass-produce glycoproteins for drug with a high quality and a high efficiency using a fracturing strain of new Y1MPO1 gene derived from Yarrowia lipolytica and to be usefully used for drug because the gene introduces and expresses a nucleic acid molecule coding a foreign protein the crushed Yarrowia lipolytica strain. A polypeptide has an amino acid sequence of a sequence number 2 or having a similarity more than 90% and an activity of adding a mannose phosphoric acid of a protein. The polypeptide having the amino acid sequence of the sequence number 2 is derived from the Yarrowia lipolytica. A polypeptide is coded from the nucleic acid molecule. The nucleic acid molecule has a sequence number 1 or a homoeology more than 90%.
