FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, deoxidation and alloying of metal melts using ferroalloys of, preferably, small-sized fractions.;SUBSTANCE: method involves using small-sized fractions of ferroalloys with lumps sized up to 40 mm; introducing said fractions into melt, with 10-20-mm thick slag coat being preliminarily formed on lump surfaces.
