The light has a light conductor with a light uncoupling area (24) and a light deflecting area (25) over a part of a length of the light. The light deflecting area faces the light uncoupling area towards a light uncoupling direction and has a prism (20) at a surface opposite to the light uncoupling area. The light uncoupling area has a semi-elliptical base area in a cross section of the light conductor, and the light deflecting area has a trapezoidal base area, where the areas adjoin together along a transverse plane (22) of the light conductor.
