The method involves determining pitch variation-differences for a pitch interval (7), and transforming the pitch variation-differences relative to lower pitch circles from a local space into a frequency space. Transformation-coefficients of pitch variations relative to the lower pitch circles are calculated from a transformation result. Transformation-coefficients of the pitch variations relative to a pitch circle (6) are transformed from the frequency space into the local space.
