The vehicle has an internal combustion engine (2), a tank ventilation system, and a filter device (6) that is arranged in a tank ventilation line (10). A valve device (9) is arranged between the filter device and a suction tract (3) in the suction line. A control device (11) actuates the valve device for rinsing the filter device, such that the environment air is supplied to the combustion engine. The control device is designed such that it switches the combustion engine depending on a loading condition of the filter device during an electrical operation of the vehicle.
