A process for the opto perforation of the cell membrane of a cell by application of laser light pulses, characterized by focusing of the pulse laser light on to the cell membrane to be perforated, applying a sequence of laser pulses, wherein during said applying the oscillation time of bubbles which are formed in the laser focus measured and the pulse energy to a pulse energy - final value is increased, in which the oscillation time of the bubbles a predetermined desired value reached.
