The arrangement has a transfer belt (4) led away a web (1) by a central roller (2) and transferred to an air-permeable rotating belt (5) running over the web. The rotating belt transfers the web to an air-permeable, water-receiving, lower dehydrating belt (6) of a following press gap formed by two press rollers (7, 8). An upper press roller (8) is wounded around over a press gap of a smooth transfer belt (9), which is led away from the web by the press gap and transferred to a air-permeable belt (10, 11) to a unit.
