PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a location estimating means that effectively utilizes information, does not use other device information, and has high matching rate with an actual state.;SOLUTION: A location estimating device 10 comprises an information acquiring section 12, an information storage section 18, and an arithmetic processing section 20. The information acquiring section 12 has a location information acquiring section 14 for acquiring location information of a mobile object from information, and an error information acquiring section 16 for acquiring error information. The information storage section 18 stores the location information and error information sent from the location information acquiring section 12 every measuring time. The arithmetic processing section 20 estimates the position based on the location information and error information from the location information acquiring section 12. The first step of estimating a moving area per unit time of the mobile object, the second step of estimating the present existing area of the mobile object, and the third step of estimating the present location of the mobile object are sequentially performed by the arithmetic processing section 20 of the location estimating device, thereby estimating the location of the mobile object.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
