PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simultaneously detecting a plurality of kinds of nucleic acids using probes labeled with a same fluorescent dye.;SOLUTION: The lntercalator fluorescent dye-labeled nucleic acid probes labeled with the same intercalator fluorescent dye and having a base sequence forming complementary bonds to at least two kinds of single-stranded nucleic acids and mutually different Tm values are added to a same reaction solution (container), respectively. The fluorescence intensity is measured with time by changing temperatures to discriminate the Tm values of the intercalator-labeled probes. Thereby, the plurality of kinds of target nucleic acids are simultaneously detected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
