The bag (1) has a base (15) obtained by folding frontal walls (11, 12) laterally connected by lateral walls (13, 14). The walls and the base delimit a primary compartment (17) that is accessed via an opening (16), where the bag is in tubular form and is obtained from a strap of flexible material e.g. paper. A secondary compartment (18) is formed by doubling the wall (11). The strap has lateral parts (20, 21) including respective lateral edges (22, 23) connected with each other for forming the primary compartment. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a packing bag.
