PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic feeder of a core drill device for automatically stopping a control motor and terminating drilling operation when a reinforcement is included in an object to be cut, and also to provide a method of controlling the automatic feeder.;SOLUTION: In this automatic feeder of a core drill device, the feed rate of a core bit is controlled by regulating an operating current or an operating voltage of the control motor for moving the core bit toward the object to be cut according to a variation in the drive current or the drive voltage of a main motor for rotatively driving the core bit. The automatic feeder further includes a stop means for detecting the operating current or the operating voltage when the control motor is operated and stopping the control motor when the operating current or the operating voltage is reduced to 30-70% of a reference current value or a reference voltage value preset for the control motor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
