PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing for a connector preventing warping caused by the difference of filling time of molten resin. PSOLUTION: The housing 20 has a box-like form with an opening 23, is provided with a contact terminal fitting hole 26 on a bottom face 22, a flange 24 for preventing deformation is formed around the opening 23, and molten resin sumps 25 for preventing forerunning of the molten resin are provided on the flange 24 at given spaces. The position of the molten resin sumps 25 orthogonal to the flange 24 disturbs the flow of the molten resin and delays filling when filling the molten resin into a cavity at injection. At the same time, a necessary amount of filling for the entire flange 24 has increased by the amount for the sumps 25, causing the delay of the filling finishing time, which, together with the filling delay due to the resistance, shortens the charge time difference of side faces 21 and a bottom face 22, completes regularly the filling from a gate side to a side opposed to the gate, causing uniform freezing and contraction over the whole cavity with no warping.
