PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable speed motor tool having a signal generator that can be actuated to make a speed variable as needed.;SOLUTION: A power tool includes a housing; a motor; an output shaft; a gear transmission mechanism; and a control system. The gear transmission mechanism is connected between the motor and the output shaft, to transmit a rotation force of the motor to the output shaft. The motor tool includes a signal generator and a control system electrically connected to the signal generator and functionally meshed with the gear transmission mechanism. Therefore, when the signal generator is manually actuated, an electric signal is generated and transmitted to the control system, and a gearing reduction ratio is changed by the gear transmission mechanism.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
