PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective layer transfer sheet which can stably obtain a printed matter with a gloss tone and printed matter with a semi-gloss tone from the same sheet by a thermal transfer method, a protective layer transfer method using the protective layer transfer sheet, and the printed matter.;SOLUTION: The protective layer transfer sheet has a base film and a protective layer and transfers the protective layer onto an image printed on a body to be transferred.
