PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a database capacity monitoring system capable of making a manager report the contents of a case that a predictive amount of necessary storage capacity of a database in a system to be newly installed is separated from a using result of database storage capacity of an existing system.;SOLUTION: The database capacity monitoring system is provided with a measurement part 103 for inputting result data from a database 102 to be monitored, a result storing DB (database) 104 for storing the input result data, a variation prediction part 105 for predicting variation in use storage capacity from the input result data and verifying whether the database using storage capacity of a new or existing application system is included within a predictive range or not, a determination part 106 for determining whether the database storage capacity of the existing system to be monitored is included within a predictive range or not, a prediction storing DB 107 for storing a parameter necessary for each determination, and a notification DB 108 for storing a determined notification destination.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
