PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a memory access time during rendering processing in PDF direct printing.;SOLUTION: A printer controller stores at least one part of a received print data into a RAM of the printer controller, according to a printing order and/or use frequency, in PDF direct printing. A PDF parser in a client side generates a tag in response to a content of a data block as to each of the transmitted data blocks, and transmits the tag together with the data block. The printer controller stores each block in a RAM or in a disk, based on the tag. The printer controller holds a memory allocation database for recording a storage place in the printer controller stored with the individual data block. The database is accessed to specify the storage place for the data block, during rendering, and the block is read for processing from the storage place.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
