PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary device for rocking type exercise apparatuses which can apply exercising loads not only to waist and leg parts but also the upper half body while enhancing the continuity of use with a reduction in intentional actions of a user.;SOLUTION: The auxiliary device 80 to be used with the rocking type exercise apparatus 10 is provided with a support part 81 to be supported with the shoulders of the user and mobile parts 82 which are so formed as to let hands or arms of the user be held being linked to both ends of the support part 81 and resonate with the reciprocal rocking of a seat part 13.
