PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine more accurately whether or not a positioning error has occurred in positioning operation.;SOLUTION: Occurrence of a positioning error is determined based on a change of a located position positioned by the positioning operation based on a GPS satellite signal from a GPS satellite S, and on a change of a beacon signal received from an access point AP which is a radio LAN base station at each positioning operation time. To put it concretely, when continuous reception of the beacon signal from the same access point AP is detected and a distance between a previous located position and the newest located position is longer than a radio LAN signal arrival distance, it is determined that a positioning error has occurred, and not the newest located position but the previous located position is outputted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
