PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote management system for sluiceway-sluice pipe-machine place, capable of simplifying communication of information between a watch person currently supervising at a site and a manager located at a distant place, preventing incorrect operation, and securing information notification even if the manager is absent.;SOLUTION: At the sluiceway-sluice pipe observation system, observation data collected by various sensors and a surveillance camera etc. are transmitted from an observation station installed for the purpose of observing a sluiceway or a sluice pipe to a monitoring station through a transmission line with a sluiceway-sluice pipe connection apparatus. The system includes a voice input indication portion for receiving voice input by pressing down a button installed at the connection apparatus, a voice signal transmission portion for converting the input voice to IP signals and transmitting to the monitoring station by an optical transmission line, and a mail gateway for transmitting the voice signals received at the monitor station to an arbitrary manager.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
