A call forwarding information service method in a mobile communication network and a system thereof are provided to enable a mobile communication system to send managed call forwarding information to a terminal, so that the terminal receiving the information can effectively manage and after-treat call forwarding information. An MSC(Mobile Switching Center) receives an origination message or a registration message including a user ID number from a terminal(S200). The MSC retrieves call forwarding information corresponding to the user ID number in an HLR(Home Location Register)(S210). The MSC transmits an ACK(Acknowledgement) message which includes the retrieved call forwarding information to the terminal(S220). The terminal separably detects the call forwarding information from the ACK message(S230). The terminal displays the separably detected call forwarding information on a terminal screen(S240).
