Authors presented a study of the methodology to improve the link margin of the calling signal for terminating calls for down link of mobile satellite communications by TDMA modulation scheme with assuming the importance of the improvement of receiving accuracy for arrival calls under the condition of waiting state. This paper describes the methodology of improving the C/N of the up link response signal replying to the calling signal for terminating calls of mobile satellite communications by TDMA modulation scheme under the same condition with the down link calling signal for arrival calls. It is because the handiness of mobile satellite communication using handy terminal will be progressed. It is studied that the spread spectrum signal modulation scheme is used to transport the response signal packet and is overlaid with TDMA signals which transport traffic signals on the same frequency band. As the result, it is recognized that the permission of slight C/N degradation on up link traffic channels in TDNIA brings the improvement of C/N on the up link response signal packet in spread spectrum signal.
