PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal output circuit, optical pickup, and optical device which adjusts a waveform for every transmission line with different transmission characteristic without an external resistor and moreover carry out transmission optimal to the transmission characteristic of the transmission line.;SOLUTION: The signal output circuit 242 is composed of a driver circuit DRV which outputs a signal photoelectric-converted by a PD 241, and an output resistor R0 connected to the output stage of the driver DRV for dumping adjustment. The output resistor R0 is formed in an IC while the driving current of the driver DRV and the resistance of the output resistor can be controlled according to the transmission characteristic of the transmission line 40.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
