PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket metal having a so-called nonadjustment type sickle piece receiving mechanism requiring no 'rattle adjustment' or 'expulsion adjustment' on the bracket metal side for a sickle piece and to provide a fitting method for the bracket metal to a door frame.;SOLUTION: A lower coupling sliding body 92 having meshing teeth 99 at the upper end section is vertically movably incorporated into a surface-opened case main body 50. An upper coupling sliding body 105 having meshed teeth 104 selectively couplable with the meshing teeth is vertically movably fitted to the upper end section of a case-like moving strike 70 having a sickle piece window 72 on a receiving plate 74. The case main body is integrally combined with a fitting plate 85 having a coupling port surrounding the right and left side plates 77 forming the box section of the moving strike 70. The moving strike is excited by an expulsion setting exciting spring 116 provided in the case main body so that the receiving plate is protruded from the outer wall face of the fitting plate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
