PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration method of a temperature sensor in an environmental exposure device by noncontact thermometer measurement.;SOLUTION: The temperature sensor 10 which is constituted as a black standard sensor and generally used in an artificial environmental exposure device for a material sample comprises a stainless steel plate 1 having a black coating 2 and a platinum resistor 3 thermally bonded to the reverse side as known. An output signal of the electric measurement transducer connected to the platinum resistor 3 through an electric feeder line 4 can be calibrated by use of a surface temperature measured in non contact by a pyrometer 8. The calibrating operation can be executed in a condition within the environmental exposure device, or while adding to the surface of the sensor the light radiation of an xenon radiation source 7 and an air flow 9 parallel to the surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
