PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a solar radiation shielding material having high visible ray transmissivity and low solar radiation transmissivity but low haze value, and to provide a coating liquid for forming a solar radiation shielding film which contains the solar radiation shielding material manufactured by the manufacturing method, and the solar radiation shielding film.;SOLUTION: An alcohol solution 2 in which antimony chloride is dissolved and an alkali solution 3 are dropped in parallel into a tin chloride aqueous solution 1 WITH TEMPERATURE ≤50°C. Co-precipitate 5 produced after finishing the dropping is fired 8 to obtain antimony tin oxide 9 which is the solar radiation shielding material. The coating liquid for forming the solar radiation shielding film is obtained by properly adding a binder into the resultant antimony tin oxide 9 and dispersing in a solvent. The solar radiation shielding film having high visible ray transmissivity and low solar radiation transmissivity but low haze value is obtained by applying the coating liquid for forming the solar radiation shielding film on a transparent base material by a proper method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
