Pharmaceutical composition containing water insoluble complex of therapeutically active stable amorphous substance, the complex per se and process for preparing thereof

The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising water-insoluble complex of a therapeutically effective amount of a stable amorphous substance and an ionic water-insoluble polymer having a molecular weight higher than about 1,328 432 x 10e-22 kg (80 000 D) and with a glass transition temperature equal to or greater than about 50 degC, and a carrier. Disclosed are also the insoluble complex per se and processes for preparing the pharmaceutical composition and the complex. The above-described pharmaceutical composition significantly increases bioavailability of poorly soluble therapeutically active compounds.
