An antibandit shutter comprising a closed frame made up of a lower housing(1), an upper head (3) and two side mullions (2) defining a space which can beopened or closed wherein said opening or closing is effected by a plurality ofelongate slats adapted (4) to move from a retracted position within theconfines of said lower housing to an expanded and raised positionsubstantially closing off said space wherein said slats are guided along themullions of said frame by a raising means comprising a plurality of crossedfirst and second lever arms in the form of a lazy tongs mechanism wherein saidfirst lever arms are formed by the edges of said slats and said second leverarms are formed from slave levers (7).
