An emotional expression assistant system and method and intelligent robot system using the emotion expression assistant system and method are provided. In the present invention, E-M mapping information containing mappings between emotion expression codes assigned to respective emotion states and detailed motion codes assigned to detailed motions and control information on the detailed motions are stored in a storage outside of the intelligent robot. An emotion expression RAC server creates, when receiving a request for emotion expression information on an emotion state, the emotion expression information with reference to the E-M mapping information and the control information and sends the emotion expression information to the intelligent robot, whereby the intelligent robot performs an emotion expression according to the emotion expression information received from the emotion expression RAC server. Accordingly, the emotional expression assistant system and method of the present invention enables producing and revising emotional expression-embedded robot content in very simple manner.
