A system and a method for supporting emotional expressions of an intelligent robot can simply modify emotional expressions used in contents without a need to modify the contents, and can lower a network load, and an intelligent robot system using the same are provided. A system(40) for supporting emotional expressions of an intelligent robot comprises: an emotional expression RAC(Robot Action Control) database(45) storing E-M(Emotion-Motion) mapping information in which an emotional expression code that is given to each emotional expression and a detail action code that is given to one or more detail operations, and that corresponds to the emotional expression code are mapped with each other, and control information on the detail operations; and an emotional expression RAC server(43) which forms emotional expression information corresponding to the emotional expressions requested by the intelligent robot and transmits the emotional expression information to the intelligent robot if emotional expression information for emotional expressions is requested by the intelligent robot.
