A novel fermentation strain S. cerevisiae IJ 850 isolated from geubong grape and a manufacturing method of wine using the same are provided to reduce fermentation costs and fermentation failure rate by using S. cerevisiae IJ 850 strain. A novel fermentation strain Saccharomyces cerevisiae IJ850 is separated from the grape with big kernel. The fermentation strain Saccharomyces cerevisiae IJ850 has excellent alcohol productivity.
