WATERMARK INSERTING METHOD TO VECTOR DATA FOR USING AZIMUTH INFORMATION AND WATERMARK DETECTING METHOD TO THE SAME

A method for inserting a vector data watermark by using an azimuth and a method for detecting the vector data watermark are provided to insert the vector data watermark into vector data which has the coordinates of a spatial object by using the azimuth and extract the vector data watermark. The sum of azimuths of each object included in the original data is calculated(S110). The average azimuth of the total azimuths and the standard deviation corresponding to the average azimuth are obtained from the original data in which the contour vector data of a building object is stored(S120). The reference azimuth for discriminating a watermark owner is set up(S130). An object into which a watermark will be inserted is selected by using the reference azimuth and standard deviation is selected(S140). Coordinates are converted to a binary number and the watermark is inserted(S150).
