An acorn tea and a preparation method thereof are provided to improve preference of the acorn tea and to show excellent diet effects, which results from a tannin component. A method for preparing an acorn tea comprises the following steps of: mixing 30-50wt% of crushed acorn with its peel, 2-10wt% of cinnamon powder, 5-10wt% of angelica powder and 30-63wt% of crushed and parched brown rice flour; adding distilled water 6-7 times as much as the mixed material and extracting them at 70-100°C for 6-8 hours; filtering the extracts and decompression-concentrating the extract; freeze-drying the concentrate at 10 degrees below zero; pulverizing the freeze-dried concentrate 100-400mesh in size; diluting 0.3-0.4wt% of the powdered concentrate in distilled water to prepare the acorn tea; and packing the prepared powder in a tea bag.
