A system and a method for providing a voice recognition based image and a server applied to the same are provided to recognize voice call contents and transmit a corresponding image, thereby enabling a user to feel different fun while using a video call service. A service management server(300) converts voice of a video call into a character string and extracts the character string from a keyword. The service management server loads and outputs a substitutive image corresponding to the keyword. An exchange transfers video call data transceived through a video call session and the substitutive image to at least one of the first and second video call terminals(100,200) according to a transmission priority.
