A plant mutant having resistance to oxidative stress is provided to increase resistance to oxidative stress by increasing reactive oxygen species(ROS) by comparing with the wild-type plant. A resistance to oxidative stress is shown in the plant body for by introducing ugt71c1-1 gene inserted with T-DNA(transferred DNA) to 105bp upstream in an ATG start codon of UGT71C1 gene in SEQ ID NO:1. The plant body is Arabidopsis thaliana. The oxidative stress is induced by chemical substances like methyl viologen.
