An expansible and contractible connecting structure of a cable tray is provided to facilitate an assembly process by exposing a coupling part of a tray and a movable connection member through a penetration hole. A transfer guide member is arranged in a connection base(100) in the longitudinal direction. A cover(109) is arranged in an upper part of the connection base for preventing the inflow of foreign materials. A pair of movable connection members(130) are arranged to face both sides of the connection base. The pair of movable connection members are movably connected to the transfer guide member. A tray(160) is combined in each movable connection member. The tray includes a plurality of frames and a plurality of hangers. Each hanger is connected between frames in a longitudinal direction. The connection base and the tray are electrically connected through a ground jumper(108).
