FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: bench consists of frame (3), of section of belt with sample of transported load (17), of supporting device for belt, of apparatus for measuring belt stretch and of facility for belt stretching. The frame is pivotally installed on a base. The end of the frame with the base opposite relative to the pivot is kinematically connected by means of turnbuckle (4). A cart of two wheel pairs (6, 7) is arranged on guides (5) secured on the frame; the said wheel pairs are connected between them with a lengthwise beam. The beam consists of two tubular elements (8,9) of different diameters which are designed to be mutually set-off one against another. The tube element of smaller diameter is enveloped with compression spring (12). Replaceable upper (14) and lower (15) walls are secured to the ends of the lengthwise beam; section of belt (16) is connected to the said walls. The upper wall is kinematically tied with counterweight (19) by means of flexor (18). The flexor is equipped with a stopping device and is designed to round deflecting block (20). Deflecting block (23) is designed to rotate at the upper end of the frame. The lower wall with its flexor is kinematically connected to a suspension bracket with replaceable loads. The distance between the upper and lower walls is longer, than a breaking distance, when the belt with a sample of transported load is caught. A spring loaded stop, designed to interact with a lower wall, is fastened in the lower part of the frame. The subject for investigation catcher of torn conveyor belt is assembled in the lower part of belt section.;EFFECT: facilitates testing parameters of catchers of conveyors with suspended belt at various methods of belt edges support.;3 dwg
