Connecting a first joining partner (1) with a second joining partner (2) at a joining area, comprises: providing the first joining partner and the second joining partner, applying a first lacquer layer (11) on the first joining partner, at least within the region of the later joint, and subsequently pressing the first joining partner and the second joining partner in the joining area under the effect of a force pressing on the joining partners, where: the first lacquer layer is a lacquer composition based on an epoxy resin mixture, a hardness accelerator, an epoxy functional adhesion mediator based on silane and a solvent, the epoxy resin mixture exhibits 10-94 wt.% of at least a solid epoxy resin with an epoxy number of maximum 2 equivalent/kg; 1-50 wt.% of at least a solid multi-functional epoxy resin with an epoxy number of greater than 4 equivalent/kg; and 5-40 wt% of a phenol and/or cresol novolac with a melting point of greater than 30[deg] C. An independent claim is included for a lacquer composition based on an epoxy resin mixture, a hardness accelerator, a epoxy functional adhesion mediator based on silane and a solvent, where the epoxy resin mixture shows 10-94 wt.% of at least a solid epoxy resin with an epoxy number of maximum 2 equivalent/kg; 1-50 wt.% of at least a solid multi-functional epoxy resin with an epoxy number of greater than 4 equivalent/kg; and 5-40 wt.% of a phenol and/or cresol novolac with a melting point of greater than 30[deg] C, where the solid multi-functional epoxy resin belongs to the group of epoxy phenol novolac or the bisphenol A epoxy resins.
