The wheel (1) has an illuminating unit (5) e.g. LED, arranged in an inner area of the wheel, and a prism-like component (6) arranged in an optical path between the illumination unit and a casing wall, where the wheel is rotatably supported in a bearing by using a hub and a shaft. Coupling units (2) are provided for connecting the wheel with function adjusting and/or controlling units. The prism-like component changes the wavelength of the light striking on a display zone or on a signaling surface and designed as a circular arc-shaped light conductor.
