The mirror (2) has a display part (3) comprising an annular-shaped light conductor plate and light-uncoupling structures placed in the light conductor plate. The light-uncoupling structures are designed as light-scattering nanoparticles. The light conductor plate is arranged adjacent to a mirror part. A light source e.g. LED, is placed adjacent to an edge surface of the light conductor plate. The light source transmits color light to a mirror car (1), where the light conductor plate includes a set of subregions that has different densities. An independent claim is also included for a method for displaying hazard objects in a dead angle of an outside mirror.
