The device has a pump (2) i.e. resonance pump, for producing pressure in a fluid i.e. oil, received from a fluid tank (20). A high pressure chamber (4) is provided for storing the pressure produced by the pump and for using the stored pressure from the high pressure chamber for pressurizing an engine valve (10). A controllable valve (6) e.g. 3/3-way-valve, is arranged upstream to the engine valve, where the controllable valve pressurizes and depressurizes a valve piston (10a) of the engine valve.
