The engine has a fuel high-pressure pump (1) with a fuel low-pressure area (2) arranged such that the fuel high-pressure pump acts as fuel channels (7, 8) before entry of fuel (17) e.g. liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fuel, into the fuel high pressure pump upto to an inlet valve at a high pressure pump chamber (19). The fuel flows through the channels. Cavities i.e. holes, in the low-pressure area of the fuel high-pressure pump are closed by a body such that the fuel is not accumulated. The fuel is directly injected into a combustion chamber.
