For the two-dimensional scenes imaging by means of continuous, passive or active microwaves - scanning is a fully mechanical directional antennas arrangement with a main reflector (1), primary radiator arrangement (3) and a relative to the main reflector small sub-reflector (2) which, with respect to the optical axis (7) of the directional antennas arrangement is inclined. First drive means (8) provide for a rotation of the subreflector about the optical axis and second drive means (17, 18) for a movement of the entire directional antennas arrangement in a direction at least approximately perpendicularly to the optical axis. The speed of movement of the subreflector is to that of the entire directional antennas arrangement is very high. Main reflector shape, sub-reflector form, a primary radiator, a distance from said primary radiators - sub-reflector and distance sub-reflector - main reflector are in the form of focus parameter so matched to each other that for a specific scenes distance is established and field of an optimal focussing. The focus parameter and the movement speeds of the two drive means are adjusted in such a way that, a gap-free continuous scenes scanning by the distance moved in the scenes focus spot (12) is obtained.Use in the case of remote sensing, in particular earth observation and safety engineering.
