The arrangement has scanning devices (6) for sequential viewing of different elements of a scene. Thermal sensing devices are coupled with the scanning devices for forming a two-dimensional image of a thermal radiation emitted from the scene. A laser source (7) produces a narrow band, and illuminates the scene via the scanning devices and optical sensing devices. The optical sensing devices are coupled with the scanning devices for extracting data from light, which is reflected from the scene based on illumination by the laser source.
