The element (1) has a protective pipe (12) with an end (13) arranged at an end of a piston rod (7), where the end of the rod lies opposite to a piston (4). The pipe is rotatably mounted relative to the rod and a hollow cylinder (3) in switching positions. A switch element (14) is arranged at an inner wall of the pipe near the end (13). Another switch element (16) is arranged at an end lying opposite to the end (13). A third switch element (17) is arranged between the switch elements, and actuates a microswitch (10) in one of the switching positions by axial displacement of the piston.
