The easily cutting ferritic stainless steel has manganese that forms sulphide in zirconium-series sulphide replaced by zirconium. The steel comprises of not greater than 0.2 weight percent of carbon, 0.01 to 5 weight percent of silicon, 0.01 to 2.5 weight percent of manganese, 0.01 to 0.5 weight percent of sulfur, not greater than 5 weight percent of nickel, 7.5 to 30 weight percent of chromium, not greater than 5 weight percent of molybdenum, not greater than 0.05 weight percent of nitrogen, not greater than 0.015 weight percent of oxygen. The stainless steel also comprises of not greater than 0.30 weight percent of titanium, and 0.01 to 1 weight percent of zirconium and the remaining percentage of iron and unavoidable purities.
