PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid dividing a software component group that should be handled together when dividing a modification area of a software system.;SOLUTION: A divisible area calculation unit 8 calculates the degree of semantic connection between software components, and divides a modification area according to both the calculated degree of connection and the degree of effect of modifications among software components.
