PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive excellent in durability and light leakage proofness even in a severe service condition. PSOLUTION: This acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive includes following components: an acrylic polymer (A) that is obtained by copolymerizing a (meth)acrylate (a-1), and an aromatic ring-containing monomer (a-2) with a functional group-containing monomer (a-3), wherein a content of the monomer (a-2) is 3-50 mass% based on the total of the monomer (a-1) and (a-2); a polyfunctional isocyanate compound (B); and an aromatic ring-containing spacer compound (C) with an isocyanate group-reactive functional group. In the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, an equivalent ratio of the isocyanate group-reactive functional group of the component (C) to the isocyanate group of the component (B) is 0.01-0.60, and a photoelastic coefficient of the adhesive layer formed thereby is 10010SP-12/SPmSP2/SP/N and 1,00010SP-12/SPmSP2/SP/N.
