PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meal implement allowing a user to know the variation in motions of eating/drinking food and ingredients included in the food. PSOLUTION: A meal analysis device 50a or 50b incorporated in a chopstick 10a or 10b includes: a detection portion 60 for detecting information on at least one of the motions of eating/drinking food and ingredients included in the food; a storage portion 75 for storing the information detected by the detection portion 60; an analysis portion 72 for analyzing the information in time series based on the information stored in the storage portion 75; and an output portion 80a or 80b for outputting the result of the analysis by the analysis portion 72.
