PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for purifying fluorinated hydrocarbon, capable of decreasing a hydrogen fluoride concentration contained in the fluorinated hydrocarbon, so that the production facility therefor, a container packed with the purified product and an article to which the purified product is applied are prevented from being corroded, to provide a solvent, to provide a lubricative polymer-containing liquid, and to provide an article having a lubricative polymer film. SOLUTION: This method for purifying the 4-8C fluorinated hydrocarbon comprises contacting the 4-8C fluorinated hydrocarbon which contains the hydrogen fluoride with a hydrogen fluoride-removing material. The solvent contains one, two or more kinds of the 4-8C fluorinated hydrocarbons, wherein the concentration of the hydrogen fluoride contained in the solvent is not more than 5 ppb. The lubricative polymer- containing liquid is obtained by dissolving or dispersing a lubricative polymer having film-forming ability into the solvent. The article having the lubricative polymer film is obtained by applying the lubricative polymer-containing liquid to an article and drying the liquid-applied article.
