PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the determination of conference opening date and time band, the participation to video conference and the regulation of the TV conference opening.;SOLUTION: A video conference support system connected to a network including Internet 111 to support the video conference performed among a plurality of terminals 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, and 170 having different communication protocols includes an interface unit 200 connected to the Internet; a user managing unit 210 for registering the user information on the video conference, the information on the user terminal, and the reservation information on a conference room; a user schedule managing unit 220 for registering user participation/nonparticipation in the date of the video conference and user schedule; a conference reservation retrieving unit 240 for retrieving the holding time zone of the holding date based on the user schedule, the reservation information of the meeting room, and the time required of the conference, and determining the conference holding when the indispensable participating schedule person is included or the participating schedule person beyond the predetermined proportion can assure; and a protocol conversion unit 230 for enabling the video conference of the user who changes distinct communication protocol of a plurality of terminals managed mutually and participates.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
